UZIMA Youth
Bantu, an UZIMA youth, makes his presentation during the Foundations/World Bank Country dialogue.

UZIMA Youth:

  • Have attended Peace promoting workshops in Israel and Palestine, in Rwanda and Burundi and D.R of Congo.
  • Have participated in work camps in D. R of Congo and Kenya with youth from other countries.
  • One was designated by the government to lead a delegation of Kenyan youth to an international cultural exchange in Sudan prior to the peace agreement
  • The Foundation has hosted meetings of African and American youth on issues of African development out of which emerged the �African Young Voices International Network� (AYINET)
  • UZIMA Youth have been on exchange visits to USA through YouthNet International.
  • UZIMA Youth and staff have been involved in international speaking tours.
