  1. The need for being economically empowered is one of the expressed needs of the members of every youth group.
  2. A number of youth are engaged in economically empowering themselves through a Revolving Loan Fund scheme which was supported by the Ford Foundation.
  3. UZIMA Foundation is in the process of establishing business mentors for the young entrepreneurs.
  4. At the end of 2005, UZIMA Foundation signed an agreement with the Grassroots Business Initiative of the IFC/World Bank with a view to scaling up the successful experiences.
