UZIMA land
UZIMA Foundation Training and Rehabilitation Centre proposed site

From past experience, the highest expenditure of UZIMA goes to hire of premises for training activities and workshops addressing program demands. To reduce this cost the board of trustees obtained a six acre piece of land in the name of the Foundation to build a training and rehabilitation centre and house the UZIMA premises. This would cut out hire costs to UZIMA. In addition the facility would generate income from hiring the training facilities to other users.

It is envisaged that the centre will also provide an enabling environment for rehabilitation of young people and especially those on substance abuse. This is in the light of some young people with whom UZIMA Foundation is working who are victims of drug abuse. This is collaborated by the data from the National Agency for the Campaign Against Drug Abuse (Kenya).
