Role: Networking and Public Relations


Nicky Blundell Brown has been with the African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF) for many years. During that time she has played out several roles for the organisation: Fundraiser and Information organizer for AMREF UK, International Co-ordinator for HQ liaising with AMREF’s international network and Country offices, Training Centre Co-ordinator: getting the International Training Centre operational and officially opened. Nicky was responsible for co-ordinating the start up of the AMREF volunteer programme – Ungana. She is currently in charge of AMREF Special Events and Heritage. Interested in networking, especially with youth, and ‘making things happen’!

She speaks English, French, German, Italian and some Kiswahili.
